President / Principal Designer

Born and raised in Naples, Florida, Chrissie has seen this small resort town grow into a cosmopolitan area while still retaining the charm and character that brought many of its new and winter residents here. Chrissie attended the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida. She received an Associate of Arts Degree in Interior Design from the American College in Lucerne, Switzerland; and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design from the American College in London, England. A professional member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID), Chrissie upholds the highest traditions of her field.

John Benson Porter
Corporate Officer

Considering the strong ties of the Porter family, it's no wonder that John found himself drawn into the family business. After graduating from the Canterbury School in Fort Myers, John enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He spent a majority of his four-year tour of duty overseas. The structure and discipline of the armed services strengthened John's organizational skills, an invaluable asset in the continued success of Accessories Etc., Inc. After the design is completed, and the fabrics and furniture are selected, the detail work begins. John coordinates the craftsmen, upholsters, and painters to ensure the highest quality of workmanship. He schedules movers and installers and completes the thankless task of overseeing the small details that are critical to a job's success.
